themis z in art d’egypte’s "tale of two cities" exhibition

Dear friends,

Feeling thankful and blessed to have been invited to participate in Art d’Egypte’s "Tale of Two Cities" exhibition, hosted in Alexandria from the 17th until the 31st of October 2024 in partnership with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

This unique exhibition, also hosted last June in Athens by the Acropolis Museum, was held under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It aimed to showcase the evolution of art and design and the artistic bond between the two wonderful cities of Alexandria and Athens.

We participated with an art de la table installation outside the Library of Alexandria, inspired by my Greek heritage and based on the aesthetics, the style, and the clear, geometric lines of the THEMIS Z brand.

A flagship of the country’s cultural calendar, Art d’Egypte gathers international outstanding artists in a series of exhibitions, podcasts and other initiatives, starting at the Great Pyramids of Egypt and on to Alexandria, seeking to preserve Egypt’s heritage and advance modern and contemporary art internationally.

I’m so grateful to Art d’Egypte’s Founder and Curator, Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, for the
opportunity to showcase Greek culture, art, design, and craftsmanship and for the honor of taking part in a wonderful creative journey!
